The field produces one of the highest wax content
crude oil in the United States. Microbes, Inc. began
treating the field in 1988 and thereafter expanded
the project to include all 146 wells. The increase in
oil recovery due to MMEOR totals more than 10
million barrels, a 68.5% improvement.
